Licensed chiropractor and healthcare provider Vincent Amato are a National College of Chiropractic graduate and the founder of two successful medical practices in New York and New Jersey. Vincent lives in the Monmouth County city of Freehold. The city is part of the New York metropolitan area.
The New York native returned to school to become a registered nurse. He will soon graduate as a family nurse practitioner. He plans to establish an all-new, one-stop pain practice, including chiropractic, acupuncture, medication management, and various pain management procedures.
This licensed chiropractor and healthcare provider has always wanted to practice medicine to its full extent and is now immensely proud and excited to do so as a family nurse practitioner.
Vincent has studied at several educational institutions, including the National College of Chiropractic, Kingsborough Community College, the College of Staten Island, Brooklyn College, and the International College of Health Sciences.
Amato graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in August 1988. The National College of Chiropractic is committed to the educational journeys of future generations of healthcare professionals. It offers a range of applied disciplines of healthcare, including chiropractic, acupuncture, and naturopathy. Its mission is to lead the healthcare education field through innovative and cutting-edge practices, techniques, and technologies.
Through its innovative curriculum, students gain the necessary competencies, knowledge, and skills to enter the chiropractic field. The core values of the National College of Chiropractic are caring, collaboration, communication, diversity, innovation, integrity, and service.
Elsewhere, Vincent Amato has undertaken extensive formal acupuncture training, including from a well-known Chinese "barefoot doctor" - a term for doctors of medicine who would travel great distances through rural areas by foot to treat patients with both acupuncture and medication. He is also training under a highly respected pain management physician in New Jersey while completing school to become a family nurse practitioner.
Dr. Amato went into private practice in November 1988 in Brooklyn, New York, immediately after graduating from the National College of Chiropractic less than three months prior.
After relocating to the famous Garden State, the National College of Chiropractic graduate established his second practice performing independent medical examinations. Still in operation today, it performs independent medical exams for automotive insurance companies and various other organizations.
Amato's second practice employs over a dozen physicians to perform crucial independent medical examinations. The practice's team includes acupuncturists, anesthesiologists, chiropractors, internal medicine doctors, neurosurgeons, orthopedic practitioners, and pain management specialists.
Returning to school after becoming an RN, he is set to graduate again as a family nurse practitioner. After qualifying, he plans to establish a new one-stop pain practice. He will look to treat patients from a multidisciplinary viewpoint.
His all-new, pain-focused third practice will treat patients with whichever medical discipline they require, including pain management, acupuncture, chiropractic, and medication management.
Vincent Amato is a member of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists. Established in 1955, the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists provides continuing postdoctoral education for professionals in the chiropractic orthopedic specialty.
It is an educational nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting chiropractic orthopedists. It does so through the provision of academic conferences. That is in addition to its place as a meeting venue for chiropractic orthopedists and corresponding organizations serving the field and looking to advance the growth of the broader chiropractic specialty.
The American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists is also home to a much-in-demand scholarship program. The F. Maynard Lipe Scholarship Award provides vital financial assistance to successful candidates enrolling in various chiropractic programs at schools nationwide.
Amato is a lifelong altruist. He began volunteering alongside ambulance crews in Canarsie in the southeastern portion of Brooklyn in New York City 1999. He initially rode as a volunteer emergency medical technician to give back to his childhood neighborhood and the surrounding area.
Italian-American Amato was born in Brooklyn and lived in the same house for over 30 years. He would ultimately become a part of the Canarsie Volunteer Ambulance Corps, a role he maintained for many years.
Today, Vincent is proud to support various local, national, and international charities, nonprofit organizations, and other good causes. The chiropractor and healthcare provider has won numerous awards for volunteering his time and granting financial help to multiple children's organizations in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
A proud father of two now grown-up children, Vincent Amato, and his son and daughter have also donated time and funds to Middlesex County's vital food kitchens, particularly during Thanksgiving. Throughout their lives, he has focused squarely on teaching his children the importance of helping the less fortunate.
New York-born Vincent enjoys a wide range of personal interests and hobbies. His favorite and longest-standing interests and hobbies are reading the latest medical journals and shooting pool. He is similarly passionate about continuing his education in medicine.
He has undertaken many years of lessons alongside a professional player. He continues to practice playing pool most weekends. However, Vincent is not competitive by nature and typically plays alone to become a better player and one day play with the best players.
While many people think pool playing is purely about getting a ball in a pocket, it is about much more than that. The pool is the only sport or hobby he has carried from childhood to adulthood.
He first took to the sport as a boy after his grandfather purchased a small pool table. Only when he reached age 12 was he allowed to play on the table, having previously watched his grandfather and older relatives play for over five years. Fast-forward to today, and he has had a full-size professional pool table in every home he has lived in as an adult.
Vincent also enjoys vacationing with his long-term girlfriend, Karyn, and spending time with their grandchildren and grown-up children.
